We are a retired American couple traveling for a year with our small terrier mix, LuLu. Sam retired from his architecture career and Donna retired from 35 years of teaching special education students at the primary level. This is our gap year! The house is packed up and rented out and our son and daughter-in-law do not have children yet, so we are as free as can be. Donna's dream has been to live in France, and Sam is making it come true! We are traveling in Central Europe and Scandinavia for 3 months before heading to Provence for a 5 month stay. View all posts by 510donna

I found this info helpful for understanding how dialing France works: https://frenchcrazy.com/2017/09/call-french-phone-number.html/ It’s a far cry from when we were there and an international call involved calling the operator to place your call for you and getting rung back 48-72 hours later with your connection.
In fact, I think this site may be a useful adjunct for following your adventures to come.

We’re about 20 minutes outside of Geneva, stlll in France. But we have s distant view of the Jette d’eau and the Horloge Fleuri!

I got the package sent off this afternoon. She said 8-10 days. They have a flat rate box for international post.
